I was recently asked what areas of life would consider myself as an expert in. I jokingly said, with a chuckle, “reviewing self-development programs”. Unaware of my attempt at humor, the interviewer then said, “oh really, why do you say that?” A bit caught off gaurd, I sat quietly for a moment of uncomfortable silence, and then it occurred to me; (grin) I really wasn’t joking. I then said “I have spent literally thousands upon thousands of dollars on hundreds of programs, and attended countless seminars on various subjects with regards to self-development, and after a while you start to develop and real sense of what is real, and what is quite frankly B.S.” Now I’m not saying that some of these so called B.S. programs are fraudulent, and have no relevance or value what so ever. What I am saying is, some of these ideas are like bicycles; sure they will eventually get you where you want to go, but there are much more efficient ways that require a lot less effort, that will get you there much quicker.
As a result of this little interview, I realized how many people like me spend countless hours and money trying to figure out what is the REAL stuff; the GOOD stuff. I also started thinking how much of the time and money I could save people, if I could just dedicate an hour or so giving a review on the products and programs that I SWEAR BY, and that have helped me personally, the most.
That being said, I am dedicating this page to doing just that; reviewing the books, and audio programs that I have benefited from the most, and giving my honest opinion as to what I found to be the most valuable thing about them.
I hope you find this beneficial.
