These days it's hard to tell the direction of money. If you're one of those people who is trying to figure it all out, good luck to you. We at InnerVisionz take the simple approach. We just decide where we want to go, and start heading in that direction. Funny thing is the money usually follows.

Now I know what some of you are thinking. This is either naive, or we are just plain lucky. Well, it's neither.

Over the years we have learned a thing or two about money. For one thing, money is NOT REAL! Money is an idea, and nothing more. This became especially true back in 1971 when President Nixon took the US off of the gold standard. When this happened we went from having "money" to having "currency". What we have today is called fiat money. One of the fundamental questions in monetary economics is why fiat money has any value if it is not based on anything of value: Why would rational people trade real goods and services for intrinsically worthless pieces of paper? The answer is simple; they would not, unless he or she believes that others will do the same. And we all do.
